Turning Four

I missed my own anniversary.

On 15 October, this blog was four years old.

A year ago I mused that "knowing I have no particular audience relieves me of the obligation to be 'relevant' somehow, by blogging about politics or current affairs". I then proceeded, in the next few months, to blog a great deal about politics and current affairs.

I'm not really a blogger at all, I'm far too sometimeish.

Over the sometime of the last two months, what energy and time I've had for blogging has gone into the Galvanize web presence.

And maybe I've once again fallen into a doldrum-like state of wondering what exactly this blog is for.

Happy Blog BDay!

Some of the best writing that I've ever seen about T&T has appeared on this site, e.g. posts about Carnival and Hosay. It's one of the most honest and thoughtful sites I've seen, too. And surely the whole point of bloggery is the freedom to post when you've got something to say, with no "ought" or "should" about it?

I would never have started a blog had I not read yours. Granted, baiting me with stuff like "I wish Marlon James would start a real blog" did that too.

I have had a blog for two years and I enjoy it for the most part;however, I sometimes wonder if anyone reads it. It does give me a window to the world if nothing else. Happy Bog b-day!

I know the feeling... Sometimes I wonder the same thing about my blogs also... But it doesnt bother me that much because most of the stuff I blog about is stuff I want to remember... And it seems like your doing the same thing... So keep it up... you are doing good from what I have read so far...
